Analytics
Flo provides two analysis tools:
- Business Analytics: business performance, with users, bookings, and revenue.
- Site performance: site visits and Google searches, explained in simple terms.
In addition, the Configured analytics card on the Home links to the official Google tools.
Business Analytics
Open Administration > Business Analytics. The page is available when the analytics module is active and follows role visibility (enabled Admins, SuperAdmins, and Pros).
At the top you find the main KPIs and controls:
- Total users, Total bookings, Cancellation rate, Estimated revenue, DAU;
- Last update;
- the analysis period: 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, or 36 months;
- Export CSV to download the period's data.
The page is organized in three tabs:
- Overview: the Bookings by weekday, Monthly bookings, Monthly sign-ups, and Revenue by subscription charts.
- Users & Bookings: user analysis (active, disabled, deleted, Admins, Pros, basic users, users with and without bookings, available entries), booking analysis (active, cancelled, average per user), Top 5 Users, and Activity detail.
- Revenue & Platform: revenue by subscription and Platform metrics (activities, venues, schedules, closures, dynamic content, newsletters).
Revenue: legacy purchases and modern commerce
The revenue section distinguishes two models:
- Legacy purchase revenue: purchases under the old model, summarized in the Subscription revenue table (subscription, price, purchases, revenue).
- Modern commerce revenue: online study-plan orders, kept separate from legacy purchases. For the period you see orders, Paid orders, Activated orders, Failed payments, Refunded orders, Gross revenue, Refunds, Net revenue, and the monthly table.
For payment flows see Online payments and Subscriptions.
KPIs on the Home
The Home can show KPI cards from the Analytics area: Site visits, New clients, Bookings, Occupancy, and Site conversions. They are enabled and ordered from the dashboard configuration; see Dashboard and home.
The Analytics page in Settings
In Settings > Analytics, reserved to SuperAdmins, an operational view remains available with historical counters: Emails sent, Total logins, Total bookings, Total translations, Summary by category, and the list of users with installed PWA (exportable to CSV). Periods range from the Last day to the Last year.
Site performance
Open Site performance (route /dashboard/andamento-sito). The page is available when the web analytics module is active and follows role visibility (enabled Admins, SuperAdmins, and Pros).
Data comes from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console and is synced daily. You can choose the 7 days, 28 days, or 90 days period.
What you find on the page:
- a summary at the top with the number of visits and the change vs. the previous period;
- the KPI cards: Visits, Users, New users, Page views, Engagement rate, Average visit duration, and Bounce rate, each with a plain-language explanation;
- Visits over time and Where visitors come from;
- Devices used and New vs. returning visitors;
- the Google search section with Clicks, Impressions, Click-through rate, and Average position, when Search Console has data;
- Most viewed pages (with link to the page) and Top Google searches;
- Which country they come from, Traffic sources, and Most frequent actions;
- short guidance sentences, for example "Visits grew by…" or "…% of visitors are new".
Special states:
- Site analysis not yet active: setup is not complete. Admins see the Configure now button, others an informational message.
- We are preparing your data: the connection is active and history is being collected. If the last collection failed, a warning appears.
- Data not available: a dedicated message reports temporarily missing Google Analytics or Search Console data.
- No data for this period: the page stays usable and you can change period.
Connecting Google Analytics and Search Console
The Site analysis configuration page (Analytics configuration entry in Administration, reserved to Admins) lets you connect the sources:
- Google Analytics property ID (GA4);
- Site in Google Search Console;
- Business type;
- Enable data collection;
- Save, Verify access, and Resync now.
Verification checks access to Google Analytics and Search Console and reports the most common errors (access denied, property or site not found, too many requests).
The technical connection on the server (Flo service account) is handled by the operator: if analytics is not yet connected, ask Flo support before entering the IDs. Support can also provide the service account address to authorize in Google Analytics and Search Console.
Configured analytics card
The Home can show the Configured analytics card with the Open Google Search Console and Open Google Analytics 4 links. The card shows no data inside Flo: it opens the official Google tools.
The card is available only if the operator has enabled the external analytics module for the configuration. If you don't see it and need it, ask Flo support.
